1, according to the needs of production and operation, regularly clean the storage tank sediments, storage of different items should be cleaned in accordance with the provisions. Measures shall be taken for pipeline and electrical connection before tank cleaning.
2. Before cleaning the tank, formulate specific and feasible cleaning plan according to the storage type, category and quantity of the storage tank; Carry out the cleaning according to the requirements of the tank to avoid accidents.
3. When the storage tank is ready for cleaning, the combustible gas should be discharged. After the inflammable and explosive liquid is emptied, it shall be purged with inert gas.
4. Hand-held tools used for cleaning flammable and explosive hazardous chemical storage tanks shall be non-sparking tools and cleaning appliances.
5. Clean the storage tank of flammable and explosive hazardous chemicals, set up construction marks, and prohibit irrelevant personnel from approaching.
6. When cleaning the storage tank of flammable and explosive hazardous chemicals, the gas concentration in the tank should be tested in time, and corresponding individual protection measures should be taken. Before operation, the risk of entering the equipment shall be analyzed, and the tank cleaning equipment, site, fire fighting equipment and preventive measures shall be checked.
7. The residue and waste water from the cleaning of flammable and explosive hazardous chemical storage tanks shall be treated in accordance with the national waste cleaning regulations.
8. During the cleaning operation of flammable and explosive hazardous chemical storage tanks, the person in charge shall supervise the cleaning operation process on site.
9. After cleaning the flammable and explosive hazardous chemical storage tank, the person in charge should check the parts and restore them to normal state.
10. When cleaning the tank filled with toxic substances, the operator shall have the knowledge of operating the corresponding toxic substances, and the operator shall wear gloves and gas protective equipment.
11. When the storage tank is emptied, water should be injected repeatedly to pump out the remaining materials in the tank as much as possible.

14. Operators and guardians shall dress and wear labor protection articles as required.
15. During the tank cleaning operation, if the operation conditions change abnormally, the operation shall be stopped.
16, the guardian should strengthen the on-site inspection tour, found illegal phenomenon, the guardian should withdraw the "into the confined space work permit", stop the operation.
