In the pumping stage, the vacuum does not need to be too high, generally maintained in the range of-0.04Mpa ~ 0.06Mpa. The negative pressure is too large. For some pots where the vacuum port is close to the feed port, the material is easy to drift and adhere near the vacuum port. When the vacuum pump is turned on next time, more material will enter the pipeline of the vacuum pump system, which will increase the burden of vacuum pump pollution. Of course, it is also strictly required: when the vacuum is turned on, it is not allowed to pump materials at the same time, and after the vacuum degree is reached and the vacuum pump is turned off, the valve closest to the emulsifying pot in the vacuum pipe should be turned off. At this time, the valve of the suction port can be opened.
The emulsification stage itself is carried out in a weak vacuum state (a negative pressure of about 0.015 ~ 0.03Mpa will remain in the pumping stage). At the end of the emulsification stage and cooling to about 65~70 degrees, because the fluidity of the material body is still relatively good, then vacuuming, it is easy to eliminate the large to small bubbles generated by vigorous stirring in the emulsification stage. At this time, vacuuming should be carried out in 2-3 batches, each batch should be maintained for 3 minutes, and then slowly at a constant speed within 3 minutes. Be careful when vacuuming soap-based or easy-to-produce foam systems. In addition to vacuuming in the pumping stage, the material body should not be vacuumed easily before forming a stable consistency (about 48 degrees), otherwise, a large number of large bubbles that are difficult to eliminate will be generated. In the area close to the low temperature, the vacuum degree can be appropriately pumped low (not more than -0.06Mpa) to eliminate the surface bubbles on the surface of the material.
For the material body of W/O formulation system, do not open vacuum (except for pumping material) in the high temperature zone (above 58 degrees), so as to avoid the loss of volatile oil esters by gasification, thus affecting the viscosity of the product or the stability of the material body. In the middle and low temperature area, vacuum (negative pressure value can reach -0.09Mpa) according to common requirements to eliminate bubbles on the surface of the material body and make the material body smooth and delicate, but the total time shall not exceed 5 minutes.
